The last week brought a lot of updates on new cars in India, along with some spy shots
The last week was full of new teasers and updates on the upcoming models, while Tata launched more variants of the Altroz with a sunroof. In the same week, MG launched a special edition of the Gloster, and we got a few spy shots of two upcoming SUVs, one from Mahindra and one from Honda. Let’s take a look at all the highlights of the week.
The new Honda Elevate teaser is out
Honda is all set to launch its new compact SUV, the Elevate, in India soon. Ahead of this, the automaker has released a new teaser showing the rear profile silhouette of the SUV. The Elevate will be Honda’s first new offering in India after 2017.
The Hyundai Exter rear design has been revealed
Hyundai has released a bunch of new teasers for the Exter in recent weeks, revealing new design details and features of the micro SUV. This time, the latest teaser shows the rear profile of the Exter, giving us a full picture of what the micro SUV will look like.
The top-spec Tata Nexon EV Max gets a major feature upgrade
Tata has introduced a major feature upgrade to the top-spec XZ+ Lux trim of the Nexon EV Max, from its Dark Edition variant. With the update, the starting price of this particular trim has also increased.
New special edition MG Gloster
Black editions of cars seem to have been gaining popularity these days, as MG has also joined the bandwagon by introducing a sportier version of the Gloster, dubbed the ‘Black Storm’. It features mostly cosmetic improvements with some red highlights inside and out.
More variants of Tata Altroz now get sunroof
Tata Altroz is now available with a CNG powertrain, with which the company also offers some segment features, including a sunroof. Since a sunroof is one of the most desired features today, the automaker has introduced this feature in all engine options of the Altroz.
Mahindra’s future plans
Considering the waiting time and backlog of orders for its current lineup of SUVs, Mahindra has opted not to launch any new models this year. In fact, the automaker has indicated that it will increase its production capacity in order to reduce the waiting period for its SUVs.
New Tata Nexon spied flying
While we’ve already seen a glimpse of the new facelifted Tata Nexon steering wheel in previous spy images, we recently got a better look at it thanks to newly leaked supplier images.
Mahindra Thar 2WD variants get a new identity
Now recognizing the rear wheel drive (RWD) variants will be easy as a recent image of a Thar with a ‘RWD’ badge caught our attention. Apart from the new badging, there are no visible changes to the rear-wheel drive variants of the SUV.
Mahindra Scorpio Classic gets a new variant
A new mid-spec variant of the Scorpio Classic has been revealed online ahead of its official launch. This particular variant of the SUV has cosmetic additions over the S trim of the base specification SUV from the outside.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus New Details
We have got our hands on the variant and powertrain details of the Bolero Neo Plus via an RTO document. The Bolero Neo Plus will be a rebadged version of the TUV300 Plus, but unlike its predecessor, it will be offered in 7- and 9-seater variants.
Spy shots this week
