INDIANAPOLIS, IN – May 25, 2023 – (Motor Sports NewsWire) – A staple on the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series circuit, the JEGS NHRA SPORTSnationals returns to National Trail Raceway in Columbus, Ohio, July 12-13 , offering the largest purse in the storied history of the JEGS NHRA SPORTSnationals program.
The event will offer more than $350,000 to the hundreds of racers competing, including more than $100,000 in contingency bids. The massive double weekend also features a popular Division 3 regional event on July 14-15, making it one of the most important weekends for NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Series competitors Racing. Combined, race teams will compete for more than $400,000 as the doubleheader weekend at National Trail Raceway stakes its claim as one of the premier events of the sports season.
In total, more than 600 competitors from all seven NHRA divisions across the country are expected to attend the double weekend, with non-stop racing action in eight different categories at the JEGS NHRA SPORTSnationals .

The more than 600 cars in attendance add to the special double-header weekend, making it a must-see weekend of racing action. The regional event will also feature the thrilling 270 mph races of the Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car classes, giving fans four days of racing excitement.
