Sub: AUTOMOBILE MAINTENANCE AT TNPL UNIT – II, TRICHY.
Tenders are hereby invited for the subject work in accordance with the following conditions.
The expected duration of the contract will be one (1) year from the date of award of the contract.
The scope of work and other terms and conditions will be as indicated in Annex I and III.
The tender schedule will be divided into two parts namely NON-PRICE BID AND QUOTED PRICE BID AND FIRM PRICE BID IN A SEALED COVER in two separate envelopes both to be submitted together.
The FIRM PRICE OFFER must be submitted on a separate sealed cover (“A” cover) together with the NO PRICE OFFER AND the budget price offer on a separate cover (“B” cover). Please clearly write at the top of the cover for “FIRM PRICE OFFER” and “NO PRICE OFFER” with “QUOTED PRICE OFFER”, both covers containing FIRM PRICE OFFER (A) and NO OFFER PRICE with QUOTED PRICE TENDER (B) shall be placed in a sealed cover (cover ‘C’) superseding the tender number and due date and shall be addressed to Outsourcing Technical Department, Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited, Mondipatti, Trichy Dt – 621 306.
BIDDER CONDITIONS TO QUALIFY TO PARTICIPATE IN REVERSE AUCTION:
The bidder must present the following in the offer without price
Copies of documentary evidence of experience in performing labor-oriented work such as manual material handling, manual/mechanized material feeding, manual packing of materials, operation and maintenance of equipment and machinery or installation · installation of plants and machinery through the hiring of skilled and unskilled workers in any industry or government. establishment and works carried out to a value not less than ₹ 3 lakh in a continuous twelve (12) month period between 01/05/2018 to 30/04/2023.
The following documentary evidence of experience must be attached along with the no price offer and the budget price offer.

APPENDIX I
Sub: AUTOMOBILE MAINTENANCE AT TNPL UNIT – II, TRICHY.
1. SCOPE OF WORK:
The tenderer must have comprehensive and highly qualified knowledge in the Service and Maintenance of Forklifts, Loaders, Tractors, Trailers, Cranes, Ambulances, Firefighters, Wood Clippers and Light Vehicles, etc.
Bidder shall follow weekly/monthly checklist, preventive maintenance and planned maintenance etc. of all vehicles according to the instructions of the responsible engineer.
The contractor must wash the vehicles with water every day.
Inject grease into all nipples and apply gelatin grease to battery terminals.
Checking and topping up oil level such as engine oil, gear oil, hydraulic oil, transmission oil, fuel pump oil. Also water from the radiator or coolant and distilled water in the batteries.
Cleaning of air filters and radiators with air and water washing of foreign materials from vehicles such as coal, dust, mud, oil, grease, etc.
Tire change/repair and vulcanization work on all types of vehicles and trailers.
Ensure cleanliness (Activities 5S) throughout the work area of the car garage.
Maintain sub-stores and Auto stocks accurately.
To undertake the above works, the bidder shall ensure the minimum manpower as per the following category (13 persons per day except Sunday and holidays declared by TNPL)

Will have ITI (Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic/Automobile Electrician) with 6 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and also possess appropriate heavy driving license.

Specialized technician: 06 people
Will have ITI (Motor Vehicle Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic) minimum with 3 years of experience in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
Qualified work assistant/Store: 01 person
Must have minimum degree/diploma with 5 years of experience in data entry, store inventory maintenance

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To carry out maintenance in accordance with the scope of work mentioned above, the tenderer must provide people with the necessary experience in carrying out vehicle maintenance on heavy vehicles.

Before employing labour, they will be screened and tested for competence and will be allowed to work only if deemed competent by TNPL. They must also have a valid driver’s license.

The Bidder shall provide all ISI Marked Safety PPE (Respirator, Dust Mask, PVC Gloves, Safety Shoes, Ear Plug, Safety Helmet etc.) to all its workers, supervisors, responsible for the work and must comply with all safety and legal regulations. rules and regulations strictly.

The bidder shall strictly follow the rules specified by TNPL while carrying out the operations.
