Aisin, a Japanese company with more than 70 years of history in automotive-related technology, is expanding its presence in the Philippines.
At its recent annual dealer convention, the original equipment supplier showcased its extensive line of automotive products.
The exhibit, called “Drive to the New Horizon,” celebrated its long history of pioneering innovation in automotive technology.

distributor in the Philippines, Riken Motor Sales, Inc.
Aisin is a major supplier to many of the world’s leading car manufacturers, including Toyota, Honda and Volkswagen, among others. It has been too
at the forefront of producing revolutionary advances in transmission technology and remains the world’s leading transmission manufacturer. Its impressive industry-leading track record in top-of-the-line powertrains has been strengthened by the inclusion of its 1-motor hybrid powertrain in multi-battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) hybrid models.
Wide range of pieces
Aisin offers a large number of transmission parts such as clutches, steering and suspension; brake parts including brake pads; as well as engine parts such as water pump, ignition coil, fan motor, etc.

It also offers premium automotive fluids, including lubricants such as motor oil, automatic transmission fluids and long-life coolant (SLLC), as well as hydraulics for both clutches and brakes.
In addition, the display included a selection of various parts including a range of wipers in 4 variations and a range of filters with oil, air and cabin air filters.
Advics, one of the brands of the Aisin group, produces complete brake systems, something that only a few brake manufacturers have achieved.
The recently released fan motor outperformed many OEMs in cooling temperature tests, keeping engine radiator temperatures regulated with extreme efficiency.

For water pumps, AISIN remains the leading supplier to Japanese car manufacturers for many decades.
The convention also showcased upcoming product introductions to the Philippine market, which may include automotive batteries, spark plugs, ignition coils, shock absorbers, tires, starters and alternators. Although the details have not been revealed, it is highly expected that these new launches will follow in the footsteps of their predecessors and make a significant impact on the local automotive industry.
