ROCHESTER, NY – The busy area of Alexander Street and Haags Alley is open Wednesday morning after being closed while police investigated shots fired that struck an empty parked car.
Rochester police rushed to the area Tuesday around 10:30 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired. Officers say the gunshot did not hit anyone, but the parked car did.
RPD believes an argument between family members led to the shooting. Police are still investigating and ask anyone with information to call 911.
