Bad Boy 98 $12,000 Final to Win Saturday Night
LOCUST GROVE, Ark. (5/23/05): From a seventh-place start, BJ Robinson moved into the lead on lap 19 to take the $5,000 COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models victory Friday night at Batesville Motor Speedway.
“I knew it was going to be tough, I thought I put softer tires on the left side than most everyone,” Robinson said in FloRacing Victory Lane. “I knew if I could bide my time early on, if I could hang my left sides on the wall, then I knew I could pass them and the lapped cars were a little hairy there. All in all, it was a great race, I can’t say enough about these cars here, we’ve been working really hard and things have finally paid off.”

Defending series champion Brian Rickman drove the first 18 laps before Robinson took control.
Following Robinson and Rickman across the finish line in the caution-free affair were Kyle Beard, Brian Rickman and Jon Mitchell.
Kyle Beard took the MD3 Bodies hard charger to move up eight places to finish third.
Robinson’s win was the third of his career with the series and made him the sixth different winner in six series events so far this year.
The action continues Saturday night with a full schedule of the $12,000 to win COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Super Late Model, which also includes full schedules for IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks and Arkansas Factory Stocks.
The pit gate will open at 4:00 PM CT and the grandstands will open at 5:00 PM. On Saturday there will be hot laps at 19:15 and the races at 19:30.
Grandstand admission on Saturday is $25 for ages 15 and older with children (ages 10-14) $5 and children (ages 9 and under) free with a paying adult. Pit passes are $35 on Saturday.
The CCSDS weekend tire rule is:
Front left: Hoosier 1300 or harder
Front Right, Rear Left, Rear Right: Hoosier NLMT2, Hoosier LM20, Hoosier NLMT3, Hoosier LM30
