He quickly U-turned and sprung into action.
“There was a time when I didn’t think it was going to happen. I didn’t think I was going to get out of that car. I was so close. If I was a few seconds off, I wouldn’t be here,” Deputy Luxon said.

Attorney General Ashley Moody recognized Wootson on Thursday, giving him a Back the Blue Award for his life-saving efforts.
