AISIN is a Japanese Fortune Global 500 company with more than 70 years of history in automotive-related technology, primarily as a manufacturer of auto spare parts. It recently announced its aim to expand its presence in the Philippines by showcasing its full list of automotive product lines during its Annual Dealer Convention.
AISIN has always been at the forefront of producing revolutionary advances in transmission technology and remains the world’s leading transmission manufacturer. Its impressive industry-leading track record in top-of-the-line transmissions has been strengthened by the inclusion of its 1-motor hybrid transmission in multiple battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) hybrid models. The company is a major supplier to many of the world’s leading car manufacturers, including Toyota, Honda and Volkswagen.
“We have always invested heavily in research and development to be able to offer a wide range of automotive components that are not only of high quality, but also affordable and accessible to everyone. Ultimately, we aim to meet the growing demand for reliable and efficient auto parts while contributing to the development of the automotive industry in the Philippines,” said AISIN Asia Managing Director Yasuhiro Nakamura.
Called “Drive to the New Horizon,” the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality automotive parts celebrated its long history of pioneering innovation in automotive technology. During the event, AISIN’s most emblematic products were displayed since its creation in the 1940s. Moreover, current and future technologies, in collaboration with its exclusive distributor in the Philippines, Riken Motor Sales, Inc.
Also highlighted at the convention were transmission parts such as clutches, steering and suspension; brake parts including brake pads; engine parts such as the water pump, ignition coil and fan motor to name a few. In addition, several premium automotive fluids were on display, including lubricants such as motor oil, automatic transmission fluids and long-life coolant (SLLC), as well as hydraulics for both clutches and brakes. In addition, the display included a selection of various parts including a range of wipers in 4 variations and a range of filters with oil, air and cabin air filters.
AISIN’s accessory market components have unique strengths that are showcased at the convention. ADVICS, one of the AISIN Group brands, produces complete brake systems, something that only a few brake manufacturers have achieved. The recently released fan motor outperformed many OEMs in cooling temperature tests, keeping engine radiator temperatures extremely efficiently regulated. For water pumps, AISIN has been the leading supplier to Japanese car manufacturers for many decades.
The convention also showcased upcoming product introductions to the Philippine market, including automotive batteries, spark plugs, ignition coils, shock absorbers, tires, starters and alternators. Although the details are yet to be revealed, it is highly expected that these new launches will follow in the footsteps of their predecessors and make a significant impact on the local auto industry.

Ltd., Keisuke Fukuda, meanwhile, commented that Filipinos could expect big additions in the future as AISIN transforms into the “AISIN Affordable Auto Parts Mall,” becoming a one-stop shop for all needs automotive The company aims to be the go-to market for all automotive retailers and workshops.
