Astron Energy, a distributor of Caltex brand lubricants, has announced the launch of a premium diesel engine oil known as Delo 400 SLK SAE 15W-40 Engine Oil.
The new Delo 400 SLK with advanced ISOSYN technology improves on the Delo 400 MGX and now ranks first in the range of heavy-duty diesel engine lubricants.
Delo 400 SLK is an API CK-4 “low SAPS” specification engine oil that can be used with diesel fuel containing up to 500 ppm sulfur. The API CK-4 category of the new Delo 400 SLK remains compatible with the previous CJ-4 categories (from the Delo 400 MGX), CI-4 Plus, CI-4 (standard) and CH-4.
Delo 400 SLK SAE 15W-40 offers improved oxidation stability that allows engines to have extended drain intervals, enabling smoother, more uninterrupted operations, even for vehicles operating in stop-and-go conditions and severe operating conditions.
The new variant’s unique anti-wear system also offers robust protection against wear and corrosion of engine components, providing improved equipment reliability, reduced vehicle downtime and lower operating costs.
The Delo 400 SLK is capable of increasing the performance of various engine designs, allowing an oil for vehicles from different OEMs, from American to Japanese to European, new or old, with or without an after- treatment, thus helping to reduce vehicle inventory costs. operators
This is attributed to the Delo 400 SLK’s compliance with the lubricant standards for new Euro IV and V compliant engines, while still being compatible with older engines.
