TEHRAN – On Monday, Iranian industrial specialists successfully tested an aircraft engine that was made of domestically manufactured parts.
In honor of International Workers’ Day, President Ebrahim Raisi visited the Iranian energy and infrastructure company MAPNA.
The aircraft’s power component and engine management system were tested during the visit by specialists from MAPNA, recognized as Iran’s largest contractor for steam, gas, combined cycle and renewable power plants.
MAPNA’s national experts used the reverse engineering process to fully develop and produce the engine and its control system.
The President also attended a display of technical advances in a number of industries, including the water industry, oil and gas production, rail transport, aircraft engines and renewable energy production and thermal
The President also saw the exhibition’s high-tech Iranian F-class gas turbine and domestic MAP 24 locomotive.
Raisi also went to the MAP24 locomotive, a product made by the experts of the MAPNA Group.
During his visit, the President emphasized the need to meet the country’s locomotive needs with a focus on local manufacturing, as well as tap into the capacity of this company’s locomotive training center.
Next, Raisi visited the electric vehicle driving system, which included buses, passenger cars and cargo vehicles developed and manufactured by the MAPNA Group.
