KETTERING – An 8-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car in Kettering on Sunday.
Around 1 p.m., Kettering police and firefighters were called to the 1200 block of Imperial Boulevard to reports of an 8-year-old girl hit by a car, according to a Kettering Police Department spokesman.
The girl was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

The crash remains under police investigation, but no charges have been filed against the driver at this time, the spokesman said.
