On Earth Day 2023 (April 22), Skoda Auto Volkswagen India generated over 3800 pledges for environmental sustainability and reaffirmed its goal of achieving carbon neutrality in line with the climate goals of Paris 2050.
Through the #IamINvested campaign, Škoda Auto Volkswagen India aims to encourage people to contribute to climate action and create a chain reaction by nominating their colleagues to join the movement.

ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India is certified as zero landfill waste and water positive clean operation. Additionally, the company has been awarded a Gold Standard rating by DQS India for its water conservation efforts both at its Aurangabad and Pune manufacturing facilities and beyond the fence.
As part of the ‘goTOzero’ mission, the Volkswagen Group intends to be carbon neutral by 2050. The group is constantly focusing on its goals of carbon neutrality throughout the global supply chain and the cycle of product life, including the expansion of renewable energies on an industrial scale.
