Video shows a Lake Mary High student flying off the roof of the car as the driver crashes into the parking lot
A Lake Mary High School student was arrested for driving recklessly and injuring another student, deputies say. The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office released video of the incident that happened in the school parking lot Wednesday afternoon during dismissal. Deputies say 18-year-old Hunter Hamilton was parked in a gray Infiniti when he ran, lost control of his car and then hit a GMC Arcadia SUV. A student on the roof of Hamilton’s car was sent flying onto the hood of Hamilton’s car. Two other people were inside the SUV, and one of them suffered a head injury, according to the arrest report. There is no update on this person’s status yet. The crash also allegedly caused damage to an unoccupied Tesla. Hamilton is charged with reckless driving and culpable negligence.
