Brad Perez Quotation before the race:
At Martinsville Speedway: “As a racing fan, I have always enjoyed watching NASCAR CRAFTSMAN® Truck Series over the years at Martinsville because of the incredible show it put on, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that this would be where I would make my NASCAR oval track debut.
“I thank all my close friends, competitors and marketing partners for all their help in getting me up to speed and helping me prepare for this, which is totally different for me. Apart from the ‘Hickory Motor Speedway at LMSC, this is the first time I’ve raced on an oval with a full size car.
“My first race that I crewed as a crew member behind the wall was at Homestead in 2016 with Rick Ware Racing and Joe Lax was my crew chief. He’s going to be my crew chief this weekend , it’s all very surreal.”
