The New Orleans Police Department is investigating several carjackings in Lakeview Tuesday morning. According to the NOPD, the carjackings happened on Louisville Street and the 6000 block of Vicksburg Street. Lakeview residents woke up to broken glass on their street. WDSU was on scene and found more than 24 cars broken into in the 6600-7000 blocks of Louisville. Anyone with information about these car break-ins is asked to call 504-658-6030.
