Service was suspended on a section of the MBTA’s Green Line Monday after a car ended up on the train tracks. The MBTA said service was suspended on the westbound B Branch between Babcock Street and Packard’s Corner due to the vehicle on the tracks from Commonwealth Avenue to Amory Street. Users are asked to use the Route 57 bus service as an alternative. Officials did not disclose how the car ended up on the train tracks. WCVB will have more information as it becomes available.

The MBTA said service was suspended on the westbound B Branch between Babcock Street and Packard’s Corner due to the vehicle on the tracks from Commonwealth Avenue to Amory Street.
