CLARK COUNTY – A driver allegedly crashed his car into a house and several other vehicles, then fled the scene overnight Sunday.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Springfield post responded to multiple reports of a driver striking other vehicles, crashing his car into a house and then fleeing the scene, according to information from the 7 News Center accumulated between the two departments and emergency. scanners
State troopers were first made aware of the driver around 1:10 a.m. after receiving reports of crashes into other vehicles and later into a home, department dispatchers said. Law enforcement officers first cited the driver in the Northridge area of Clark County.
The car reportedly crashed into a house between Montego Drive and state Route 334, according to initial traffic from emergency scanners.
The driver then fled the scene, prompting the Clark County Sheriff’s Office to create a “be on the lookout” (aka “BOLO”) for a silver Honda Civic or gray with heavy front-end damage, state patrol dispatch said. .
The suspect was still at large at the time of questioning.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office led the investigation into the incidents. They are expected to release more information soon.
