CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP): The American Automobile Association (AAA) has released its AAA Car Guide to help car buyers learn more about the newest vehicles, including electric vehicles (EVs).
The guide offers information on the top 10 rankings, the best vehicles under $35,000, the 10 most fuel efficient vehicles and more. The reviews are based on tests conducted by AAA engineers, which highlight how many advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) are included in the vehicle, along with safety features, fuel efficiency, emissions, braking, handling, quality of driving and acceleration.
Consumers have a strong interest in electric vehicle technology, not only because of the rising cost of gasoline, but because the federal government has set a goal to make half of all new vehicles sold in the USA by 2030 be zero-emission vehicles and build a country at the national level. network of 500,000 chargers to help make electric vehicles accessible to all Americans, both for local and long-distance trips.
According to AAA, people bought more than 760,000 electric vehicles in 2022, up 65% from 2021. Of the 71 vehicles reviewed for the 2023 AAA Car Guide, 19 are pure electric.
