The Washoe County Coroner’s Office has identified Michelle Jardine as the person killed Monday by a driver who police say intentionally struck three pedestrians near downtown Reno.
On Monday, David Wayne Turner, 57, was arrested on charges of murder and attempted murder after police say he intentionally drove into three people around 6:45 p.m. near the intersection of Fourth Street and Line Drive.
Jardine was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Jardine, 55, was homeless and lived in the Reno area.
Two other people hit by Turner were in critical but stable condition, police said Monday.
There is no indication that Turner knew the people he hit; Turner told police he intentionally hit his victims.
