A heavily modified 1990 Nissan Skyline GT-R is looking for a new home in the United States, and while it’s not cheap, it could turn out to be a worthwhile investment.
The GT-R in question was imported to the United States and purchased by the seller in 2016. It retains the original right-hand drive layout and has covered approximately 103,000 km (~64,000 miles) since new. For those looking for a bare-bones R32 Skyline, this is not the car for you.
Starting with the exterior, the Nissan is finished in Gun Gray Metallic and features Greddy rear fender skirts and a Nismo N1-style front bumper cover. It also wears 18-inch Advan GT Racing wheels with Nankang Sportnex AR-1 tires.

Serious changes then begin under the skin. They include SPL Titanium series front tension bars, Stance custom ZR1 coilovers and GT Tech upper control arms. The Bring a trailer The listing also notes that the car is running aftermarket brake ducts, new brake lines, and EBC front and rear rotors. The ABS system and the four-wheel steering system have also been removed to increase the raw driving experience.
Then there is the engine. This is a 2.6 liter RB26DETT sourced from an R34 generation model and modified with 86.5mm pistons, Tomei Poncams camshafts, ACL bearings, ARP main bearings and cylinder heads, new turbochargers and an HKS intercooler. Many other changes have been made to the engine, and test sheets reveal that it produces more than 500 hp and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque.
Handling all that power is a new five-speed manual transmission that moves a Nismo Super Coppermix two-plate clutch. The GT-R also gets new ATS hybrid carbon front and rear limited-slip differentials and a Tomei exhaust system.
