During the restoration, the exterior was redone in the metallic orange shade you see here. Features include wheel flares, dual mirrors and a black hood with plastic windows.
A set of eight-hole aluminum wheels with manual locking front hubs are wrapped in radial tires.
The front bucket seats and rear bench are protected by black seat covers. Features include Grant GT steering wheel, floor mounted transmission and transfer case shifts, black bed liner and Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo.
In front of the driver are an 85 mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure and voltage. The odometer reads 12,641 miles, although the actual mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
Power is provided by a 345ci “Comanche” V8 and backed by a three-speed automatic transmission with dual-range transfer case.
This Scout II is equipped with solid front and rear axles with part-time four-wheel drive. Front power discs and rear drums stop movement on pavement or dirt. A dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers exits ahead of the rear tires. Additional equipment includes newer bushings and suspension components.
