The latest free update for Gran Turismo 7 is adding a five-car squad, a couple of new designs for the Nürburgring, and you can see the cherry blossoms in Japan.
Update 3.1 will be released tomorrow, March 30, and while it’s not necessarily a game-changing update, it’s always welcome to see new content for players to play with added to the game.
The five cars being added to the game include:
- Audi RS 5 Turbo DTM ’19
- Mazda3 X Burgundy Selection ’19
- Porsche 959 ’87
- Porsche Carrera GTS (904) ’64
- Toyota Alphard Executive Lounge ’18

When we look at the list above, the one that easily stands out from the rest is the Toyota Alphard Executive Lounge. In a game full of cars built for speed, this vehicle is a popular Japanese van that you can drive for a more relaxed drive.
In addition to the cars, Nürburgring has a couple of new track designs being added to the game. The first is called the Nürburgring Endurance and combines the Grand Prix and Nordschleife circuits and is expected to be a tougher challenge for the drivers. The second design, called the Nürburgring Sprint, is a shorter version of the Grand Prix and is built for low-speed cars, so you might be able to use the minivan here.
Finally, in the smallest part of this update is a new cherry blossom landscape that you can use to take fun photos with your favorite car.
Update 3.1 won’t blow your mind, but if you’re a big fan of Gran Turismo 7, it’s worth downloading to check out the new content.
