Someone once asked me if there is any part of Muslim society that has not fallen. My answer was that the Muslim table is the only place that has not fallen. The month of Ramadan is the month in which the amount of food on the table increases five times. He who eats does not think for a moment that the principle of quantity is imposed on food.
Human nature is also strange. In other words, health is the most valuable asset, but human beings care more about the devices they buy for various needs. In these devices, since the car has a special status, we have the car in front of us. When he hires a driver for the vehicle, he specifically points out that the oil and water should be checked daily. Checking the oil and water means checking regularly every morning whether the amount of water, engine oil, brake oil and pressure oil in the radiator is full or not. If it’s full, thanks, but if the amount of any of these things is less, it should be fulfilled. Do you know why all these issues are raised daily with a total ban? Just because the “health” of the car is good. As if in this sense, the human being does not expect the car to suffer from cough, fever, stomach cramps or headache, then it will take it to the doctor, that is, to the mechanic. Rather, it pre-controls the total power supply of the vehicle. He gives it water and all kinds of oil in the exact amount required. No more and no less than the required amount. Because he knows that this reduction in quantity is dangerous for the health of his vehicle.
Lack of water can cause the engine to overheat and weaken. Lack of engine oil can cause the engine to seize. Lack of brake oil can cause an accident. Therefore, in order to save the vehicle from all the aforementioned disasters, he does this basic task in any case that he wakes up every morning and controls the amount of food in the vehicle by himself or with the help of the driver.
It’s ironic that the more care we give to a car, the more attention we pay to its food intake. We regularly measure with scales to see if the amount is below or above the specified limit. That’s not all we do when it comes to our health. We have never seriously considered whether there is a certain amount of food for our own existence or not. Do we keep the calculation of our food intake as strict as we show in the case of our car?
The body needs protein, calcium, vitamins, iron and other nutrients that must be provided in a balanced amount. Are we providing these components to our body in the necessary amount? Is it not so that more of the quantity is poured into the stomach? Nutrient accounting is still a detailed task, as remembering the properties of different vegetables, legumes and fruits and balancing them in your diet to get the necessary nutrients is a thoughtful task. may be acceptable to some extent. But the problem here is that most of us eat egg paratha for breakfast, two rotis with curry for lunch and two rotis for dinner without thinking that this food is good for our body. Is it necessary or not?
The result is that most people over the age of thirty-five are panting with between fifteen and thirty kilos of body fat. I personally have been one of those people who have put on twenty pounds of fat over the years. Twelve or fifteen years ago, I contacted a weight loss agency that confiscated their expensive drugs and ridiculous diet plan for a year. Neither the diet plan nor the medication worked, leaving the problem unresolved. The most popular tip that came up again and again was walking! I also took a walk and looked, but nothing happened. Then, four years ago, after consulting with two prominent doctors on this matter and starting to practice it, it was revealed that the most misleading propaganda regarding weight loss is the one we are promoting what we have heard themselves And that makes losing weight one of the hardest things in the world, when it’s actually the easiest thing to do.
You don’t need to take medicine for it and you don’t need to starve yourself. Also, no need to eat boiled vegetables and boring dishes. The problem is that we have given our bodies an egg for breakfast, two loaves of bread day and night, which is wrong. If you think about it, parents play an important role. As soon as the child reaches the age of ten or twelve, the mother begins to punch two or two buns. If the child does not eat a couple of loaves of bread, they take him to the doctor because the child is not eating properly. Now, if the doctor says that it is not necessary for an old man to eat two loaves at once, why do you force your child to do so? So in this case the Qibla doctor cannot collect the fee. When the child does not have a medical problem, what is the fee? Therefore, by prescribing syrup, the doctor whets the child’s appetite unnecessarily so that the fee can be charged. And so each of us has become addicted to one or two pieces of bread and I don’t know how many herbs as a result of the same process.
Now Since we are taking much more than we need in this food, especially wheat, rice and sweets, the result is that this extra food becomes fat and clings to us like a ghost and makes us not only thin but also prone to permanent illnesses Is. And the diseases are not small and big, but of the heart, kidneys, liver, pancreas and lungs. Four things must be controlled in the diet. Sweets, wheat, rice and chicken are served during the holidays. We had two hard-boiled eggs with yolk for breakfast as per our doctor’s advice and also had tea with normal sweetness. When you start to fill up on hard-boiled eggs, start with four slices of whole-wheat bread or barley porridge. Instead of eating during the day, they mixed black gram in the salad and ate it well. For dinner we would make a roti or a bowl of rice with curry. But the curry must be doubled so that the appetite does not remain and an unnecessary amount of wheat or rice does not enter the stomach.
The thing to understand is that wheat, rice and sweets are dangerous, not curry. Sweets are foods that contain sugar as the main ingredient. For example, cold drinks, sweets, custards and puddings, etc. This diet plan did not include the help of drugs and I did not have to starve. By controlling only three things, harmless things were added instead. The result is that weight loss of four kg started in one month. And twenty kilos of fat disappeared from the body in four months. After a while we also gave up salad and black gram takalaf during the day.
Now only breakfast and dinner are the norm. It is good in winter because everyone’s nature is more inclined to eat and drink. So they freeze in the winter and do bad things. But watch out for the weight. As soon as they gain five to ten kilos. By giving up indulgences, breakfast and dinner return to normal. So the weight also returns to its fixed limit. Hear a funny story as you go. If the diet plan mentioned above is strictly followed, one day in a week can be avoided. We do this abstinence one day a week in all honesty. And there is no harm in it. It is a strange thing to link a Muslim to the amount of food in Ramadan, but it is no stranger than politics!
