GWINNETT County, Ga – A crash on Interstate 85 in south Gwinnett County that closed all lanes of the interstate Wednesday left one person in critical condition, according to police.
Gwinnett County Police were on the scene of a crash near Hamilton Mill Road.
Officers said a car was traveling southbound on Hamilton Mill Road in the center lane when it began to change lanes to the right, before it had to swerve to the left to avoid a vehicle already in the lane.

The driver then lost control, causing his car to overturn and eject the front seat passenger, causing a life-threatening injury.
The driver and another passenger were transported with minor injuries.
The car did not come into contact with any other vehicles, according to police.
Georgia Department of Transportation cameras showed nearly 12 patrol cars blocking the interstate after the crash.
