ROSS TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A barn crash in Luzerne County left one person trapped in a car Saturday afternoon.
According to the City of Nanticoke Fire Department, they responded to a call at about 1:47 pm on Main Road in Ross Township to assist the Sweet Valley Volunteer Fire Company with a car entrapment accident.
The City of Nanticoke Fire Department said when they arrived on scene they saw a car crashed into a barn with one person still inside.
It took fire departments about 25 minutes to extricate the victim from the back door of the car, as mentioned by the City of Nanticoke Fire Department.
The victim was taken to the hospital. The extent of the injuries is currently unknown.
