Buying a new car is incredibly exciting and there are a lot of fun decisions to make.
Are you big or small? Petrol or electric? SUV or hatchback? And of course the most important question of all; what color…
In fact, the only thing that isn’t fun is paying the bill.
Used car prices rose 32 percent last year*, and with no sign of slowing down, many of us are now facing concerns about cost and affordability. But the good news is that there could be an affordable way to buy your next car and could cost you £200 a month or less**.
By taking advantage of the finance deals offered by auto retailers like Cazoo, you can spread the cost of buying a car and you may find that you can choose something that you might not otherwise be able to afford.
And because you’re paying the money back monthly, you’ll know exactly how much it’s going to cost, so it can be a great way to plan and stay in control of your budget.
It’s a win-win!

MAKE A DREAM COME TRUE
With Cazoo you have two types of finance to choose from – Hire Purchase (HP) and Personal Contract Purchase (PCP), so you just have to choose which works best for you.
With both, you put down a deposit and then pay a fixed amount each month for a set term, usually a minimum of two years.
Where it differs is at the end of this fixed period.
With HP you will own the vehicle once all payments have been made, including the option to purchase the payment, while with PCP you have a few more options.
You can return the car to the lender, buy it with a final payment or, if the car’s market value is higher than the lender’s estimate, you can put the difference into a new finance arrangement, subject to your financial situation.
So which one is best for you?
Hire Purchase is a great option if you know you want to own your car at the end of your finance contract and don’t mind the higher monthly cost as there won’t be a big final payment.
Buying on a personal contract may be right for you if you want to trade in your car regularly, or if you want a more expensive model but with lower repayments.
Whatever you choose, buying a car on finance could mean you can have what you want, when you want it and often for a lot less than you think.
