Cairo – Shell Lubricants Egypt has signed two exclusive strategic partnership contracts with General Motors and Al Mansour Automotive, to be the exclusive supplier of greases and lubricating fluids for both companies. These partnerships align with Shell’s strategy of offering high-quality products manufactured using cutting-edge global technologies, in a bold move to consolidate its position in Egypt.
The signing ceremony was attended by the senior management of the three parties represented, by Mr. Khaled Kacem, Shell Egypt Country President. Amal Elsheikh, President and CEO of Shell Lubricants Egypt, Sharon Nishi, President and CEO of General Motors Egypt and North Africa and Ankush Arora CEO of Al Mansour Automotive.
Ms. Amal Elsheikh, President and CEO of Shell Lubricants Egypt, stated: “We are delighted to join forces with industry giants such as GM and Mansour Automotive, opening up new opportunities in the Egyptian market. Elsheikh further explained that Shell lubricants Egypt, under this partnership, will provide lubricants and greases for the production operations of the General Motors plant, in addition to coolants and brake fluids using cutting-edge technologies. In fact, this has positioned Shell as a trusted supplier of lubricants to the largest car manufacturers locally and globally. In addition, Shell will provide lubricants to Al Mansour service centers under the Chevrolet brand, expanding Shell’s footprint in the MCV by Chevrolet medium and light commercial vehicle sector.
