First responders in Hamilton Township, New Jersey responded to a fatal crash along I-295 Sunday morning.
According to authorities, a crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. when a vehicle left the roadway on I-295 at exit 63 and entered the water.
On Sunday morning, Hamilton Township professional firefighters shared images from the scene of the incident on social media.
Officials said after the car left the roadway, it flipped onto its side into the water. Crews worked for about three hours to extricate the driver from the vehicle.
Law enforcement has not yet released any information regarding the identity of the driver who died in this crash, nor has it been released what may have caused this car to leave the roadway.
