Aston Martin and Girard-Perregaux have just unveiled their latest watch, called the Laureato Green Ceramic Aston Martin Edition.
The exclusive watch will be offered in 38mm and 42mm cases and will be limited to just 188 and 388 pieces respectively. The watch that immediately stands out is the green ceramic case and bracelet, and while pricing details aren’t known, it certainly won’t be cheap once sales begin at select Girard-Perregaux retailers in June.
In addition to the green ceramic components, the Laureato Green Ceramic Aston Martin Edition has Girard-Perregaux skeletonized “baton” type hour and minute hands. The watch face also features a cross hatch design that mimics that found on the original Aston Martin logo used between 1921 and 1926, as well as some of the quilted leather upholstery found on their current models.
“From the beginning, the design of the Laureato was distinctive, yet cohesive,” described Girard-Perregaux CEO Patrick Pruniaux. “Its style embraced clean, geometric lines while exhibiting a slightly soft character. Contrasting polished and satin surfaces, an ergonomic integrated bracelet and of course, as always, an in-house movement…these are the essential ingredients that have made the Laureato a remarkable success. The same ingredients are very evident with the new Aston Martin Laureato Green Ceramic Edition, along with the addition of an interesting and highly contemporary material.”

The British carmaker first partnered with Girard-Perregaux in 2021. Their first jointly developed watch was the Three Flying Bridges – Aston Martin Edition, limited to just 18 examples worldwide and each cost $146,000.
“Our goal was to conceive an advanced luxury product,” Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Creative Director Marek Reichman said of the latest timepiece. “Interestingly, Patrick and I spent a lot of time talking about the folklore of the Laureato and the design play between the shape and proportion of its iconic bezel. When he shared GP’s exploration of the optical properties of technical ceramics, microbeads and microns, I loved this idea of the past becoming the future. We are always exploring combinations of technology, color and materials in Aston Martin sports cars to enrich performance, functionality and owner enjoyment. Together we have merged these ideas and attributes to generate this brilliant new Aston Martin GP Laureato”.
