Police are at the scene of a crash early Wednesday morning in Hollywood after a freight train collided with a vehicle, causing a roadway to be closed in the area.
The crash happened just before 4 a.m. along the westbound lanes of Pembroke Road, west of I-95. Hollywood Police and Pembroke Park Police were both on the scene.
The car involved sustained extensive damage, but police have not released any injuries at this time.
Drivers are advised to avoid Pembroke Road for much of the morning while the investigation continues. Tri-Rail said its trains are also experiencing delays and there would be a bus bridge from Golden Glades to Hollywood stations.
