Muncie, Ind. — A Muncie man is in custody after fleeing police in a stolen Chrysler Sebring and crashing into a tree.
Joshua Little, 43, faces a slew of felony charges, including trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in methamphetamine, burglary, auto theft and resisting law enforcement. Little also had active warrants for his arrest at the time of his arrest.
According to court documents, Muncie Police Department officers responded to a Goodwill on E. 29th Street Saturday morning where a stolen Chrysler Sebring was seen in the parking lot. While police went inside to speak with a manager about the vehicle, Little ran out of the store and jumped into the Sebring.
Police said Little sped off with officers in hot pursuit. Little didn’t get far, though, before crashing into a tree.
Little fled from officers on foot, but was arrested and handcuffed. A search of the stolen Sebring allegedly turned up 35 cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride pills, three boxes of cannabis concentrate, 10.7 grams of methamphetamine, 35.6 grams of marijuana, and 15 grams of a “brown powdery substance.”
Little appears to have visible scratches on his hands and knees after the chase. He was booked into the Delaware County Jail.
