Lando Norris vented his frustration at McLaren’s dismal performance during pre-season testing, reportedly by punching a wall in his garage.
Norris was 11th fastest on the final day of testing, with only 17 cars taking to the track.
His lap time of 1:32.160 was 1.855 seconds off the pace set by Sergio Pérez.
Norris also completed the fewest laps with 141.
Famed F1 journalist Will Buxton claimed that Norris hit a wall in annoyance.
“I actually saw him come out of the garage and walk into the little driver’s room next door and, very unlike Lando, he actually hit the flimsy, makeshift wall as he went through,” she said.
