In a glittering function, Lanka IOC awarded the best performing lubricant distributors in Colombo with a cash prize along with a trophy and a certificate of merit based on their performance during the 2021/22 financial year. The following lubricant distributors were the proud recipients of the recognition: 1st Rank – Samaranayake and Samaranayake Ltd. – Ratnapura District; 2nd Rank – SPS Enterprises – Nuwara Eliya District and 3rd Rank – KTH Distributors – Monaragala District.
The rest of the distributors were also awarded for their valuable contribution with a certificate of merit.
LIOC Managing Director Manoj Gupta in his keynote address advised all channel partners to have a customer-centric approach and ensure increased secondary sales.
Gupta also detailed future expansion and investment plans in Sri Lanka. In order to achieve sustainable growth, the company has emphasized on local blending of almost all grades of lubricants, which is in line with government policy. In addition, the company has undertaken several environmentally friendly value engineering initiatives. This also includes the automation of mixing and filling operations. The aim of the listed company is to save the precious foreign exchange and create more employment and new business opportunities for the SME segment.
All lubricant distributors interacted cordially and sent their valuable feedback for further development. Most of the dealers expressed their utmost happiness to be a part of this award program.
