JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that a man died on University Boulevard after being struck by a car near Jacksonville University Wednesday morning.
According to detectives, officers responded around 5 a.m. initially to a crash with injuries. Upon arrival, they learned that a pedestrian had been struck and despite life-saving efforts, he unfortunately died at the scene.
