DENVER – A popular south Denver brewery will likely be closed for a while after a car crashed into its building Tuesday morning.
Denver police said officers responded around 8 a.m. to the crash at Dos Luces Brewery at 1236 S. Broadway.
Police said a woman traveling southbound on South Broadway attempted to change lanes near West Mississippi Avenue and cut off another vehicle. This caused her to lose control and crash into the brewery and a parked vehicle.
The woman and two minor passengers were taken to the hospital, but no serious injuries were reported, police said. No one was inside the brewery at the time of the accident, the company said.
The driver was cited for careless driving and disobeying a lane assignment, police said.
In addition to the brewery, the Cuban Coffee Break pop-up on Wednesdays will also be closed until further notice.
