Azerbaijan and Pakistan discussed the development of cooperation in the energy sector, Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov tweeted, News.az reports.
According to the tweet, Shahbazov discussed the development of energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Pakistan with Pakistan’s Minister of State for Petroleum Musadik Malik, Federal Minister of Investments and Special Initiatives Board Chaudhry Salik Hussain and the Federal Minister of Industries and Production Makhdoom Syed Murtaza Mehmood.
A ministerial delegation from Pakistan is on a visit to Baku from February 18, 2023. The visit will last until February 23.
Pakistan is negotiating with Azerbaijan for import of oil, petroleum and lubricants (POL) on credit, supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) at affordable prices.
