Visitors can now enjoy the classic cars of the past in a new museum in the Stutz Building in downtown Indianapolis.
Creative director Chris Adams said the car museum displays nine classic cars, most of which were designed and manufactured by Stutz inside the building.
“We definitely plan to really bring that history to the public and, you know, be able to show the public which cars are which, what years they were built and provide some history and information about what the Stutz building was and is. and some of the vehicles that were made,” Adams said.
He said the museum offers a rich experience in the city’s automotive history.
“There aren’t too many spaces in Indianapolis that can delve into the culture, and you know, the automotive history of Indianapolis. And I think this is one of the spaces that will,” Adams said. “We want to collaborate a lot with local creatives and local brands. We plan to partner with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum and really get them involved in helping us activate the museum and provide history talks about the presence of motoring in Indianapolis and the importance of the world of motoring.” .
The museum is free and open to the public.
