DEKALB COUNTY – A truck carrying cars caught fire on the ramp from I-285 to I-85 in DeKalb County Monday afternoon, closing several lanes and producing a huge plume of black smoke.
Firefighters said several cars in the truck caught fire near the Pleasantdale Road exit.

Video from the Georgia Department of Transportation showed at least one vehicle completely engulfed in black smoke. There were at least five fire engines at the scene.
Officials did not say how the fire started or how long the lanes will be closed.
Some lanes had reopened by 3 p.m
