A woman is dead after being hit by a car in Lake County, according to troopers

Above: Check out some of today’s stories The Florida Highway Patrol said a crash in Lake County killed a pedestrian Friday morning. According to troopers, a sedan traveling on County Road 42 struck a pedestrian crossing the street around 6:45 a.m. Friday. The 42-year-old Paisley woman was taken to hospital after the crash, where she later died. The driver and passenger of the sedan were not injured. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
