The highlight of the Vanguard stand (#1466) will be the new Exchangeable 1.5 kWh battery*which will have an immediate impact on the rental sector when it hits the market May 2023. Show attendees will have the opportunity to see the swappable battery pack in action at the Vanguard booth powering a Multiquip® palette and in the Billy Goat hut (#1065) running a Billy Goat® fan The Vanguard stand will also feature the expanded line of Vanguard batteries and a selection of their commercial motor offerings.

With unmatched power, reduced maintenance and a lower total cost of ownership, Vanguard lithium-ion battery packs are designed with durability and versatility in mind. The latest addition to the battery lineup is the 1.5kWh* swappable battery pack, designed to provide users with an efficient and reliable battery power option.
The swappable design of the 1.5kWh* swappable battery pack allows users to quickly switch newly charged packs from one application to another – reducing workplace downtime, increasing productivity and eliminating worry on autonomy and execution time. This makes it an ideal solution for applications in the rental industry. The integrated battery management system (BMS) constantly measures the voltage and temperature of the pack to ensure safe and efficient operation. The swappable battery pack can be used in conjunction with other Vanguard packs to meet larger electrification needs.
Attendees of The ARA Show will also be able to view the current one Vanguard line of lithium ion batteriesincluding 3.5 kWh*, 5 kWh* and 7 kWh* models.
Innovate on behalf of customers
Vanguard will display a combination of its leading commercial engines, with some featuring cutting-edge technologies, including the Vanguard 400 EFI/ETC engine. The avant-garde 400 EFI/ETC The horizontal axis commercial gasoline engine is the latest addition to the Vanguard single cylinder product line. The Electronic fuel injection system (EFI). provides better fuel efficiency, better overall performance and quick load acceptance. The engine also offers easy, choke-free starting at all times. The addition of the Electronic throttle control system means operators can count on smooth, consistent power for whatever size load or type of terrain they encounter.
Show attendees will also learn about how recent innovations in the Vanguard engine are helping to reduce maintenance intervals and optimize uptime so teams can tackle the task at hand. These innovations include the Vanguard Cyclonic Air Filtration System, which helps reduce maintenance by doubling air filter replacement intervals to 600 hours. The exclusive TransportGuard™ Vanguard’s technology integrates a single-action ignition and fuel shut-off switch to mitigate the risk of engine failure due to fuel and oil mixing during transport.
